I have enjoyed this series about Sheila as an amateur sleuth. The buddy act with Clara is fun. There has been a guy in the wings, but the story is really only about the sleuthing. Although, the end has some interesting foreshadowing. Can’t wait for the next volume.

Enjoying this new series

I have been a long-standing, reader and listener of British mystery series. I am enjoying this American series. I’m glad I stumbled across this series on Amazon. It’s taking me a little while to get used to the narrator’s voice. Which is why I gave it four stars instead of five.
